Area flow meterThe structure is shown in the figure: It is mainly composed of a transparent plastic cone tube with the small end down and the big end up and the float that can move up and down in the cone tube as the measuring element, which is composed of nuts, nozzles, stoppers and "O" rings. . When the fluid flows from bottom to top in the conical tube, a pressure difference is generated up and down the float, which makes the float rise. When the pressure difference is in force balance with the gravity, buoyancy and viscous force of the float, the float is in a static position. When the flow rate changes , the flow velocity of the fluid flowing through the annular gap between the cone tube and the float changes, the pressure difference between the upper and lower floats changes accordingly, and the float moves up and down, so the height of the float at the static position can be used as a measure of flow.

Install

(1) Before installation, take out the smooth support in the instrument with needle-nose pliers, and then re-install it. When installing, pay attention to whether the rubber ring is installed in the groove of the nozzle to prevent water leakage.

(2) The interface of the flowmeter can be connected with a matching ABS plastic pipe or a PVC plastic pipe with a special dehydration bonding connection, or it can be connected with a metal flange after being connected by a plastic method.

(3) The flowmeter must be installed vertically without any obvious inclination. The installation height should be convenient for reading the float. When reading, the line of sight and the float should be horizontal. (General standard: The required flow rate is the flow meter flow rate of 50%. Try not to use high numbers.)

(4) The upstream and downstream inlet and outlet of the instrument should ensure that there are straight pipe sections with 5 times the diameter of the instrument.

(5) The pressure of the fluid to be measured must be stable. If the fluid pressure is unstable, the float will fluctuate and cannot be measured correctly. A buffer or a valuer should be installed upstream of the flowmeter.

When using the flowmeter, it should beSlowly open the upstream valve to full open, then adjust the flow with the regulating valve downstream of the flow meter. (To prevent the float from suddenly impacting upwards, damaging the instrument, and avoiding sudden changes in the measured body temperature. If the flowmeter is found to have leakage during use, it is generally due to the dislocation or failure of the sealing ring, which should be corrected or replaced.) When the flowmeter is stopped, it should be slowly Close the upstream valve, then close the flow regulating valve downstream of the flow meter.
