address Nanhua Motor Proximity Switch

proximity switchis aNon-contact sensorIt uses the principles of electromagnetic induction, capacitance or magnetic field. When an object approaches its sensing range, it can automatically trigger and output an electrical signal. It is mainly used to replace traditional switches that require physical contact. It has the advantages of long life, fast response, strong anti-interference ability and is not affected by environmental factors such as oil pollution. It is widely used in industrial automation and equipment protection.
Main principles
  • Inductive: The approach of an object is detected by detecting the change in eddy current generated by the coil when a metal object approaches.
  • Capacitive: When an object (metal or non-metal) approaches, the change in the capacitive field, such as plastic, liquid, powder, etc., can be detected.
  • Magnetic: Detection using magnetic field changes is commonly done with reed switches or Hall sensors.
  • Optical: A light beam is emitted by a light emitting diode (LED), and a photosensitive element detects the signal generated by an object blocking or reflecting the light beam.

A proximity sensor is a non-contact sensor that detects the presence of nearby objects. It emits an electromagnetic field or electromagnetic radiation (such as infrared) and detects changes in this field to determine if an object is approaching. These sensors have no mechanical parts, resulting in high reliability and a long service life.
